About the AuthorBorn in Georgia, Jean Keating moved to Virginiato join a newly formed government agency call NASA. She switched to Educational Administration after 10 years as an aerospace engineer. In 1998 she retired and began writing about her companion dogs. In 1999, she published the first in a planned series of dog mysteries featuring a Papillon. The character of Sky in "Amorous Accident: A Dog's Eye View of Murder" closely resembles her real life companion, Mischief. She is currently at work on her second mystery, "Brainy Bear: Death Takes Best of Breed," assisted as always by the 15 canines and 2 felines that rule her home and heart.
